He didn’t have to worry about wearing big sunglasses or his facial expressions, as he had been able to bluff against the best of the online gamers—none of whom could see the expressions of the other players when they were involved in a game.
So what about poker makes it amongst the top gambling games? It has all the elements of excitement that one would want—suspense, ability, luck, bluffing, romance. Well, forget the romance. That was just additional (although I’m sure that Bill got plenty of offers from interested women after he won the online tournament, then went on to win the championship in the bricks and mortar world). No, what truly makes it a top gambling game is its ability to take hundreds of thousands of players and put them on a level playing field, with no one having inordinate advantages other than their own ability to judge the odds on the fly, and to include an evaluation of the personalities of the players at the same time.
